BioMy name's Kate - a single, 25-year old private practice attorney and international trade consultant originally from Sydney, Australia (and now stationed in Chicago, Illinois). My job involves negotiating & finalizing import/export contracts, as well as securing customs clearances, overseeing duties and tariffs, etc. The best part of it -- by far -- is that I've been lucky enough to to travel all over the world and meet the most amazing people you can imagine. My long-term goal is to become a U.S. citizen, meet someone special (someday), raise a family and enjoy the rest of my life exploring this lovely country.
My hobbies and interests include reading, sports, hiking, angling, cooking, skeet shooting and making music (I play the violin, but not all that well), and I hope to meet a lot of new and interesting people here on LiveJournal. Please feel to add me as a friend, regardless of race, nationality, sexual preference, political affiliation or anything else. I'm open-minded, easy to get along with, would welcome the chance to make your acquaintance. :)
